One Day to Go...

You would think that after an entire day of editing my novel I would be tired of writing.  Unfortunately, that assumption would be wrong.  :-)

Tomorrow will be the first day in over a month that I will be able to log in to Facebook.  The interesting thing about that is I'm not sure that I will log in to Facebook tomorrow.  This has been such an interesting and fun experience.  I've learned so much about things and about myself and I don't think I'm willing to give that up to fall back in to Facebook.

In the last month I have been less stressed, less angry and way more active than I'd been for a really long time.  I started working on a new novel and fell back in love with my old novel.  I've been working on it now for the last two days, today for the entire day.  I've gotten over halfway through it and it is so much better than it was when I thought I'd finished it three months ago.  I'm going to have it edited and ready on April 21st - watch for it on Kindle.  Here's the new cover:
This project has taken me two years to complete.  It has been through several overhauls in those two years.  I think I've finally gotten it to the point where it is ready to go.  Just a few more days and I'll have something solid and you guys will have the joy of finally getting to see what I've spent so much time on.  Here's some of my editing work:

Yesterday, Meredith and I took some time out and went to the beach.  In all honesty, this is only the third time I've been to the beach in the two years I've lived in Florida.  Our goal was the get some sun and do some reading.  The trip there worried us a little bit due to lovely downpours we drove through, which continued even as we walked out to the beach and into the water.  It cleared up though and we were able to enjoy a sunny and warm day.  I'm a little more burned then tan, but it's starting to brown over quite well.

As for the new diet and exercise plan I'm on...that's still going pretty well too...or so I think.  Tomorrow, Meredith and I will weigh in for the first time since we started.  I'm a little nervous to see if I've lost any weight at all.  If MyFitnessPal is right and I accurately tracked my calories and exercise, I should have at least lost one pound.

The only bad thing about this weekend is that I missed Kaiden's first birthday party.  Can't believe that little guy will be 1 on Monday.  He's getting so big!!!  Tomorrow we're going to SeaWorld.  That means I'll spend more on the little monster.  :-)
