A lot has happened since the last post on July 8th.
John and I were married on July 9th in a wonderful ceremony. The wedding went so well and was everything that we had hoped it would be. The reception also went very well and we had soooo much fun. I feel really bad, though because I did not get to talk to everyone at the wedding because so much was going on. Between the dancing, photos and events - we had a ton going on. I am so thankful for all of our family members and friends who came out to celebrate that day with us.
After the wedding, John and I drove back to Florida to start getting our apartment ready for move out and to go on our honeymoon. We took a little bit of a longer trip back, but it was okay because we got to take our time. Instead of the usually trek through Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia - we went east through Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. It was nice to be able to just slow down and spend a little bit of time just enjoying each others company.

We left for our honeymoon cruise on Saturday, July 16th. We traveled to Miami first (an no, we didn't get to see them filming CSI: Miami OR Dexter - sad) and then boarded the ship and were on our way. The second day of the cruise was a day at sea. We spent time on the deck soaking up some sun and then had our formal dinner. We had the same Waite staff for the entire cruise and they were wonderful. Day three we stopped in Jamaica. Jamaica is not a place to stop at unless you already have planned events and are being picked up by someone. We were on the shore for a hour before we turned around and boarded the ship again. The plus side was there was almost no one left on the ship, it was nice and quiet. The downside - I got really burnt from just that hour. Day four we went to Grand Cayman - it was gorgeous. We spent the entire time on the beach. Day five was the last day of the actual cruise and was a fun day at sea. We had such a wonderful time, I'm very glad we got the chance to go!

After our honeymoon we returned to the apartment where we got everything packed up and ready to move in to the storage unit. It took us three days to get our entire life packed up and it filled up a 10x15 storage unit with room to spare - guess we don't have as much stuff as we thought.
John drove himself back to Ohio on the 30th and left me in Florida. I had to attend a class for 4 days as well as work at band camp. The class was wonderful. I learned so much about what we are teaching next year and I am SUPER excited to start teaching Civics with my incoming 7th graders.
On Thursday, I flew out to San Antonio to be with Jennifer as she prepared to get married. Her and Noah were married yesterday, 6 August and a wonderful ceremony. I am so happy for her!
Sunday, at 6:00 AM, I started the trip back to Ohio. I couldn't wait to see John again. I missed him so much! Getting up at 4:00 AM was NO FUN, but it is okay because I got a lovely hug and kiss from my
husband :) when I came through the gate.
Needless to say I am soooo tired of traveling, but we're not done yet. Mom and I are heading back to Florida on Thursday because I have to take a class on Friday for my school. John and dad will be coming in on Friday and then we are going to move our stuff from the storage unit in to Meredith's house. I will be done traveling then, but John will be coming back to Ohio with my parents to work with his dad a little bit more to help with our tiny income problem.
But other than that, life is wonderful. We are so blessed to have so many people who love and support us and I can not wait to celebrate our one month wedding anniversary on Tuesday :-)
